Content removal & takedown
BHK Scanner is a search engine for rental listings. We index publicly posted facts — rent, size, locality, furnishing — and link every listing back to the site it came from. We do not copy listing descriptions, and we do not publish owners' contact details.
If you are a website or platform
If you would rather we did not index or link to your listings, tell us and we will stop. Email support@bhkscanner.com from a company address with the domain and the URLs (or simply the domain, to exclude it entirely). We will remove the content and block future crawling of that domain.
We honour robots.txt. If you disallow us there, we stop — no email needed.
If you own the copyright in a photo or description
Send us a written complaint at support@bhkscanner.com identifying the work and where it appears on our site. On receipt we will disable access to that material for 21 days while you obtain a court order, in line with section 52(1)(c) of the Copyright Act 1957, and permanently if you ask us to.
If you are an owner, landlord or agent
Ask us to remove your property and we will, no questions asked — usually the same day. If your phone number appears anywhere in text we display, tell us and we will erase it. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you may ask us to delete any personal data we hold about you, and we will.
