How this report is made

BHK Scanner continuously indexes rental listings for Bangalore from hundreds of sources across the web, de-duplicates them (the same property posted in three places counts once), and geotags them to areas. This report was computed from the 383 listings live on 28 Jul 2026 — monthly-rent listings only (no lease lump-sums, no PG beds).

All figures are medians — half the listings cost less, half more — so a few luxury or junk listings can’t skew them. A median is published only where at least 5 (per size), 8 (per area) or 5 (per area–size cell) priced listings exist. Snapshots are stored every month, so movement is measured between real stored data, never re-estimated.
